We had a wonderful time at the annual Microbiome Symposium. Keynote talks were given by Dr. Matthew Redinbo and Dr. Maria Gloria Dominguez-Bello, inspiring us all to think deeply about the antibiotic exposure each of us has had early in life and the effects it may have had on our microbiomes.

CRISPR lab member, John Beckley, presented a poster at this year’s symposium titled, “Development of a CRISPR-Cas transposes system for in situ microbial gene editing.” We are proud to announce that John won an award for his outstanding poster!
